W.D. O’Connell 19-Year-Old Single Malt PX Series

The 3rd release by W.D O'Connell Whiskey Merchants in the PX Series is a single cask of 342 bottles and a return to the 70 cl format from the first PX bottling.

The W.D. O’Connell 19-Year-Old Single Malt PX Series – Cask 144104 was distilled at Cooley and matured in first-fill ex-bourbon casks for 17 years before a second maturation for 30 months in an ex-Pedro Ximénez sherry cask.

Bottled at 46%, non-chill filtered with no added colouring, it is a rich, full-bodied Irish whiskey that showcases the continued progression of the limited series of Pedro Ximénez-influenced single malt Irish whiskeys.

I can’t get enough of the PX Series, single cask Irish whiskey. With aromas of cocoa & dark berries, a thick & creamy texture, and the taste of figs, red grape, liquorice & toasted oak, you’ll be blown away by this flavour profile. Limited to 342 bottles, buy it here.
