On this episode of The Pot Still PodCask, I chatted with Adam Collins, head of marketing at Clonakilty Distillery. Adam has such a unique story about studying digital marketing in university, to being an intern at Clonakilty and being thrown in the deep end. The challenge for Adam, was to take on the task of bringing an old-school industry business into the digital age, and to throw a spanner in the works, add a pandemic to the mash-bill.
In this episode, we'll find out about Adam's background and how he fell into the industry, taking advantage of an opportunity and how he transitioned from Beamish to whiskey. We chatted about how he and Clonakilty have been forced into the digital age and how they've even adapted their sales team with VR - Virtual Reality headsets, very cool.
