Wicklow Whiskey Society launched at the Harbour Bar in Bray

On November 2nd, 2023, the Wicklow Whiskey Society was launched at the iconic Harbour Bar in Bray, Co. Wicklow. The event was a sell-out, with whiskey enthusiasts from all over Wicklow and beyond coming together to celebrate the launch of this new and exciting society.

The Wicklow Whiskey Society is a group of whiskey lovers who are passionate about promoting Irish whiskey, particularly the whiskey produced in Wicklow. The society is open to everyone, from newcomers to whiskey enthusiasts, and aims to provide a welcoming and informative environment for people to learn more about and enjoy Irish whiskey.

The launch night at the Harbour Bar was a great success. Attendees were treated to two whiskeys from each of Wicklow's three distilleries: Glendalough, Powerscourt, and Garden County. There was also a welcome cocktail, local beer, food platters, and entertainment provided by Karl Cooney of Dublin Cocktail Lab and Santina Kennedy from Wicklow Naturally.

In addition to the whiskey tastings, the launch night was also an opportunity for members of the Wicklow Whiskey Society to meet each other and socialize. There was a great atmosphere in the Harbour Bar, and it was clear that the society is already off to a flying start.

The Wicklow Whiskey Society has a number of events planned for the coming months, including tastings, distillery tours, and social events. The society is also working on developing a membership program that will offer members exclusive benefits and discounts.
